Buyers in California (2018-2022) may qualify for cash payments ranging from $30 to $140 per product, depending on the collar type. Up to 3 products can be claimed without proof of purchase.

$15.35 Million Shields Health Care Group Data Breach Settlement
Deadline: December 3, 2025
Shields Health Care Group agreed to a $15.35 million settlement after a 2022 breach compromised patient data such as Social Security numbers and medical information. Eligible individuals may receive:
- Up to $2,500 for ordinary losses + up to 5 hours of lost time
- Up to $25,000 for extraordinary losses like fraud or identity theft
- A $50 payment for those without documented losses

$5M EyeMed Vision Care Data Breach Settlement
Deadline: December 11, 2025
EyeMed will pay $5 million to resolve claims it didn’t prevent a 2020 data breach that exposed sensitive personal information, including health and government ID numbers. Affected consumers can claim up to $10,000 in documented losses, plus up to $100 for lost time, and an estimated $50 residual payment.

JOOLA Pickleball Paddle False Advertising Settlement

Sport Squad settled claims that JOOLA falsely advertised its Gen 3 pickleball paddles as approved by USA Pickleball when they were not. Owners of specific Gen 3 models may receive either a $300 refund with proof of purchase or a $150 gift code without proof.

$2.5M TransUnion FCRA Settlement
Deadline: TBD by settlement site
TransUnion agreed to a $2.5 million settlement after allegedly failing to delete consumer data from its systems when a debt collector requested removal, which is a potential violation of the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA). Individuals whose information was sent through TransUnion’s Triggers for Collection system more than two business days after a deletion request (between Jan. 20, 2021, and Dec. 31, 2023) may qualify for a cash payment.

$4M TreeHouse Frozen Waffle Recall Settlement
Deadline: December 16, 2025
TreeHouse Foods will pay $4 million to resolve claims it sold frozen waffles later recalled for possible listeria contamination. Consumers who purchased select store-brand waffles between October 18, 2024, and September 2, 2025, may receive refunds. Full reimbursement with proof of purchase, or up to two products reimbursed at the average retail price without proof.

$7.05M NBA Top Shot / Dapper Labs Privacy Settlement

NBA Properties and Dapper Labs agreed to a $7.05 million settlement after claims they shared NBA Top Shot users’ data with Facebook without consent, allegedly violating the VPPA and California privacy laws. Users with both an NBA Top Shot and a Facebook account between June 15, 2020, and January 30, 2025, may receive an equal share of the fund, estimated at $36 to $122.

$12.5M AARP VPPA Privacy Settlement
Deadline: December 31, 2025
AARP agreed to a $12.5 million settlement over claims it shared members’ video-viewing data with Facebook via the Meta Pixel tool. Individuals who viewed videos on AARP.org while logged into Facebook (Sept. 27, 2020 – Sept. 12, 2025) may receive a cash payment, with estimates ranging from $47 to $237 depending on participation.
